"I Can't Stop Loving You (Though I Try)" is a song written past vocaliser-songwriter William Nicholls and first recorded by his short-lived project, White Horse – a collaboration between himself, Kenny Altman, and Jon Lind – and featured on the group's 1977 cocky-titled album.[1] [ii]

The following year, Leo Sayer featured a version on his self-titled anthology on the Chrysalis label. Information technology reached number six on the Uk Singles Chart and was classified argent. An American Southern stone group, the Outlaws, recorded "I Can't Stop Loving You" on their 1980 release Ghost Riders. In 2002, Phil Collins likewise covered the song, as "Tin can't Stop Loving Yous". His version reached number 28 on the UK Singles Nautical chart.[3] For other versions of the song, meet department beneath.

"Can't Stop Loving You" is the tenth song by English singer Phil Collins on his seventh solo anthology Testify, released in 2002. The song was the lead unmarried from Prove. Information technology is also released as the 12th rails on the beginning CD of the 2004 compilation album, Love Songs: A Compilation... Quondam and New. Although it had minor airplay, the vocal was even so some other number one Billboard developed contemporary smash hit for Collins, his eighth.[7] The song too reached the number ten on the Eurochart.

The song was originally recorded by Collins in 2000 for a dearest songs project forth with "To the lowest degree You Tin Do", but both tracks were released in 2002 for Testify.[8] Collins' version has some minor changes in the lyrics and introduces a span afterward the second chorus.
